
With revenues falling, many newspapers around the world are desperate to cut costs and boost advertising income. 4PM, a young Irish web technologies firm may have found the answer in 4AdMan, a web-to-print application that allows customers to design their own ads for publication online.

Our software can handle anything from a small classified to a full page property advertisement, delivered to the newspaper as a print-ready file that has been designed and approved by the client and pre-paid by credit card.
“It would not be uncommon for the sales person to be going back and forth between the customer and the designer approving the advert. The magic that 4AdMan provides is the automation where it is possible for no designers to be involved with the customer and the sales person has the tools to be able to build the advert with the customer, proof and pay all in the one visit. I am not saying that we would get rid of designers, in fact I am saying quite the opposite, in that they would be able to focus on creating templates that the sales teams would use.”
